these guys are seriously something else. i thought their regular stuff was amazing, until i heard those same songs acoustic. god freeaking damn they rock. and their live stuff is so damn good too. it sounds studio quality. and their stuff is pretty hard to play if you ask me. i still have trouble playing most of their songs.completely different style thatn most musicians.

You don't need to clutch when starting the car unless you start in gear. On a different note, i NEVER add gas while pulling away, i just get the clutch to the biting point pull away slowly then drop the clutch and add gas. It's a nasty habit i've gotten since taken my driving lessons, poor clutch! :B

I have been driving and drinking my coffee for years and I have never, ever had an accident. Try doing that a driving stick. Manual driving is for racing not for inner city traffic filled down town driving or long distant trips like from NYC to Houston. At least not for me. But I am sure that manual is more fun than automatic.

its obvious that with practice anyone would be able to drive stick. But the fact that an automatic gear box exists beats the all purpose. Plus, remember manuals cars were around for a much longer time than automatics and so were accidents. The fact that you can have your car roll back while driving up on a hill with lots of traffic lights makes driving stick much more dangerous than a automatic. What a about long distance trips and city driving its so much more tiring.

This is too complicated. And it sucks cause it will tire you down quickly specially if you are gonna go on a long road trip. Never mind the fact that your right arm will be tied up on the gear stick which means that you can't even drink a cup of coffee while you are driving. Its dangerous cause you run the risk of having your engine stalled going up on a ramp stopping and starting all the time due to traffic lights and having your car rolling backwards. @daisycorgi for your information, and for your teacher as well: One style of singing very pouplar among Mongolian traditional musicians is called 'Tuva' or throat singing. With that you can get up to 3 layers if tone off one voice: the throat vibrates between two notes back and forth in a very fast matter, sounding like one dual-voice, and then the overtone laid above that. (if we eant to be exact, there is a second overtone layer, totaling in four tones off one voice.) Take THAT ;)

@mediumphill that's unfair to say though. I can feel a lot of passion in some bands that you would consider mainstream. It doesn't have to be underground or indie to have passioin even though I'm sure that's not what you meant a lot of people seem to think otherwise. I know this sounds lame on this video, but I'm a huge Avenged Sevenfold fan and it gives me chills to listen to one of their new songs cause it was written for their dead friends. I don't mean to trash them since I barely know them and I'm trying to get into them. This is a GREAT song which I discovered after The Empire Shall Fall covered it but, this live performance was cool, yet the singing just seemed so horrible. He sounded like he lost all his breath in the acrobatics that he couldn't sing the song. I know that's kind of how it's supposed to sound having heard the recording but it still sounded very amatuer.

God the singer sounds like Ian Mackaye..Coincidental?? hmmm.. Still, I remember when this came out, this and QOTSA's Rated R on Interscope at about the same time. 2 very good records on a major label when everything else on the majors was (and still is..) total rubbish. Shame they didn't release another album...but hard to see this sort of music finding the kind of 'mass audience' majors seek. Bit of Voivod worship going on here too on this album as well...

A totally under-rated love ballad in the history of rock. The Cars were certainly commercial...but they also had a degree of brilliance in their approach to the use of synths and how to use three keyboard players successfully...among many sound innovations. This song is beautiful, eerie, and it rocks even though it's a ballad. Absolutely brilliant...and it simply grabs my heart. The beat is incredibly unusual. I tried playing it in a cover band once...not easy...to put it mildly.
